I had no idea birds layed eggs more than once! Mamma Bird was in her nest and Averie (the one who ALWAYS notices) asked me if she layed more eggs. I said I doubt it, spring is over and they only do that once a year. Later that day she checked again and WOW! There are 4 maybe 5 eggs again! I am shocked! I need to do some research on this, educate myself because I feel so stupid.....just when we think we know it all......clearly, we do not! Maybe it is a different Mamma Bird?? It looks like the same one but seriously, can you tell the difference from one robin to the next?? We are now awaiting more babies......

hmm... i noticed she kept coming to visit the nest after the babies were gone but i didn't think much of it because i didn't think she would have more!!
