Our 1st Official Rabbit & Cavy Show turned out to be very interesting! This continues to be a learning experience. I feel like we are making friends......& enemies.....some people take this rabbit business VERY SERIOUSLY!! I am glad the girls enter in the Youth Class because we do not compete against some of the folks who REALLY breed to WIN!!! It is fun for us but, OMG have we seen some weirdos!

The girls & I were very bothered by the fact that the dutch oven lunch consisted of RABBIT as a choice of meat for a BBQ sandwich!!!!!!!!.....I am not kidding! Multi-purpose pets I suppose!

Mykah did AWESOME! She bought a lot of supplies & a show table. She sold Maple because she did not do well at all. She had some regret on the way home & thought maybe she sold her too fast. She got over it pretty quick....all part of it I guess! Rusty did awesome & won 2nd to Best of Show.....Very Cool considering there were a ton of rabbits there!

Averie & Archie won 1st Place in the Pet Competition.

We learned he is not show material because he has a slight mohawk on his back....dumb but it is what it is! She purchased a show quality pig while we were there.

Grace did not do well with disappointment as you can see by the pictures. She got up way too early & was starting to get a cold. The fact that she had to spend most of the day in a barn or in the suburban to get warm because by noon she had a fever......did not make for a good time! Then when her little S'more did not win well......just look at the picture!

....get out the fork, she is DONE!

The next show is November 21st.....
