Big Boy Surgery

So not to long ago I get a text from Tad asking me for the number to the doctor. I was a bit shocked & called him immediately! Wondering if his dad has maybe been hurt at the shop?!? First of all, we call "his" doctor simply Doug as most of you know so I was panicked & confused. Then Tad tells me it is for himself but didn't really elaborate....I managed to get him to confess that he thought he may have a hernia. WHEW! No BIG deal....he made an appointment that day. Doug told him he needed a specialist right away & that he needed surgery. ok. This was all the week before Hawaii, I asked Doug 3 days later how urgent this was because we were going on vacation & Tad was planning to climb the Widowmaker hillclimb when we got back. His reply, "why haven't you called the surgeon yet!?" So........long story short......he had surgery today to repair his "KING SIZE HERNIA"! NO QUESTION it needed surgery ASAP!

Yes he did climb...I was nervous but it was just fine.

So he is now in bed for 3 weeks. Poor guy.
