Elephant moved out! She did not last long, two cats is two too many! Bo is driving everyone crazy with the kittens!!! All he does is bawl because he wants to be in the garage playing with the kittens! We do not trust him with them because they are tiny and don't want something bad to happen! I know Rick will kill them if he gets a hold of them! He plays with them like a cat plays with a mouse....kinda scares me a little! He doesn't try and eat them but uses his paws to bat at them and hold them down! YIKES!!!! Averie loses interest as soon as it is time to share her kitty or clean out the litter box! I will have to say did NOT work out.....I knew better! Elephant moved out yesterday and went to live at The Zeidlers (Derek's sister Tawnya) and we could not be happier! Their kitty disappeared and they have been looking for one for awhile with no success. After I posted pictures of them when we got them she called to see if there were more. They were all gone so when we called yesterday they were excited and came right up to get her. Averie is happy that Garrett has elephant now, she thought they would be a perfect match....(Averie really likes Garrett) so I think everyone is happy! I know I am!

I am trying to be patient with Penguin but kittens drive me nuts! He meows a lot, tries to get in the house, climbs up my leg......aaaaah! Mykah takes really good care of him but wants another bunny and maybe it is too much?! Bunnies are great, we can lock the cage and don't have to worry about Bo or the dog getting in! Mykah said she is willing to let him go but would like it to be to someone she knows. I am trying to not place an ad on ksl but it is tempting....Anyone want a kitty???? I guess we'll see!

I have to admit that when I saw the picture of the dog...then the rabbit...then the kitties (as adorable as they were!!!) I thought you were nuts! I got my kids a kitten about six months ago because we were going to be putting down our family dog and I thought the kitten would help ease to pain. I found out real quick that I am a dog person NOT a cat person!! She totally drives me nuts! There was a lot of familiarity in your post! Then she will, just for the heck of it, start running, jump up on a table, slide and knock down EVERYTHING! I feel your pain! :)

We have always had a dog....some good, some not so good! We have had our lab Rossco for 12 years this month! I hate cats but loved Figaro...I had to bottle feed him and 2 others for about 3-4 weeks. I guess that is why he was such a good cat. I was also younger, less kids and obviously had more patience. We had him for like 6 or 7 years. He was chased by our neighbors dog and never came back after that. I really love Rick because otherwise I would not be putting up with his shedding and his HORRIBLE gas!! Today he went to petsmart for a de-shedding treatment and we purchased "Gas-be-Gone" tablets to try.....he is high maintenance! The cute tiny kitten scares me!! I hate it when they hiss at me, it freaks me out...he did it today and I froze so he wouldn't get me & he does it to Mykah and she just cracks up & says, "Oh you think you're tough or what?" This is what I believe the difference is between a cat person and a NOT cat person!!!
i think its so funny when he hisses at me because he is so tiny and couldn't do any damage... haha :) and i want to keep penguin so bad but at the same time i don't know if its a good idea... mom please don't put him on KSL just yet, give me a few more days and we'll see what happens :)
p.s. i do want another bunny and i picked her out already but she is a baby and i have to wait a few weeks for her... but she is sooo cute!!!!!!
