Christmas Vacation

Christmas Vacation....Vockel Style

I have so much to post...these are some of my favorites.

Merry Christmas!

Santa decided we should take a trip this year!

First, it took our suburban & truck to haul everyone & all our gear down there...

Second, Derek had to hit Cabela's on the way down...

We spent the first night in Mesquite at Casablanca.

This is something I never need to do again!!!

I learned right out of the chute....I HATE CASINOS!!

Especially when traveling with kids.

& the pool is empty

& hot tub is full of COLD water.

We settled for chocolate ice cream,

in bed,

with white sheets!

Got to San Diego the next day & got settled in our rooms.

We checked in just in time to find out that the

hotel served free dinner, beer & wine every night!

BONUS!!

This is something I LOVE!!!

Especially when traveling with kids.

for ten days!!!

The next morning we went to Seaworld!

We had 3 days there

....it was fabulous!

He will make a good husband someday!

We spent a day swimming at the Benson's....

We spent 2 of our days at Legoland!

The first was New Y

ears Eve....holy NIGHTMARE!!!

Lesson #2. I hate large crowds!!!!

Makes me very uncomfortable...people are gross & rude!
