Poor Daisy
On Thursday (3.11.10) we took Daisy to the vet. She has not been able to eat & looked like she had a serious abscess of some kind. She has lost her whistle....I knew it was not good but $192 later we hoped to nurse her back to health. The vet was hopeful. She got antibiotic, drained abscess, filed teeth & he said, "just fatten her up"! Ave had to feed her gatorade like the vet said through a syringe for a few days, she just never perked up.
This is what Daisy looked like a week later....
....just not gonna get better....
She was VERY thin....
Poor Ave.
So sad.
We had to "put her down".
She will be missed.
She was our favorite piggie.

I'm so sorry. It is never fun to lose a friend. Rest in Peace sweet Daisy. Hang in there Ave.
Oh my goodness. I read the scarf around the neck to tight post, to this post. How sad is that. That had to be so painful. I am glad she is happier now. I hope Averie is ok. That is never fun to take care of.
