Tattoos & 9 new........

We have 9 new baby bunnies as of Thursday! Penelope & Edgar are the proud parents. There are 2 that we are calling the "teeny twins" because they are half the size of the other 7. This morning Mykah, Derek & I had to do some intervention. You see, 9 is 3 too many when it comes to "milkers"....as Bo calls them.... Penelope only bothers to feed them once & out of all 4 of our Mama Rabbits, she is probably the worst. I think she is the oldest so I can't blame her I guess. Anyhow, this morning we could see that some of these babies were very hungry. Derek had to hold Penelope down laying her on her side. Mykah & I had to get the babies & show them where the food was. It only took like 10 minutes or so & they were full. The "teeny twins" may not make it, we will have to see how things go in the next few days....then maybe I will take some pictures.

I wanted to say Thanks to everyone who took a bunny home from the first batch. I am happily surprised at the bunny market out there! We even have a waiting list! I was afraid we may get stuck with a few! Sure glad we didn't.....I even got to be the "lucky" one to learn how to tattoo bunny ears! Mykah couldn't, she felt bad for them & so I tried to talk Derek into it & seriously the big tough guy......couldn't! He got all ready, tattoo pen in hand & couldn't! So I, yes me, learned how & tattoo'd all but 10 of the 15! I am even shocked!

Not much else to blog about.....things have been pretty uneventful. This is good.
