I had to capture these 2 episodes on camera becuz my little Grace blows my mind with the "odd" ways she entertains herself! I told you she makes faces out of everything & gave you a sample awhile back.......well this is her latest at hairdo time! I set out what I was going to use in her hair that day. I walked away and came back to this. To me the funny part isn't what she "creates" it is that she is so proud she requests a picture everytime! "Mom, go get the camera!"

She added to the face by adding more elastics.....so proud of herself!
This is a classic! She is posing her monkey with his hand up and makes the crown with her fingers....she says, "look mom, my monkey looks like the girl with the pokey crown what holds the torcher!" (...that would be the Statue of Liberty in case you didn't get it...) It took me a minute but I had to laugh! She just smiles at me waiting for me to figure out how smart she is??
I am pretty sure there is a therapist out there who will tell me one of two things....she is either very intelligent and all this has meaning or she is just a bit odd!?
