I am happy to report that on June 22nd, 2009 Bo said goodbye to his training wheels! He had them on for exactly 7 days before he had enough. He got a late start on the whole 2-wheeler thing seems he is 4 but in a week he is all caught up! He is a pro now. Yesterday he was gone with Spencer on a bike ride touring the neighborhood by 7:30 am! For the past 3 days he has been sporting a black greasy calf from his chain! I can't get it off! He has also ruined 2 pairs of socks, 2 pairs of shorts & pinched his chin in the helmet strap once!
Oh the joys of summer!
Grace never really mastered her trike.....she doesn't care much about her bike or the fact that it has training wheels. I don't feel one bit bad about only spending $34.99 on it and from Walmart none the less! For as much as she will use it it will be just dandy! Mykah planned a bike ride/picnic to the park just down the street. It is about a 5 minute ride. It took her an hour with Grace! Yes, she timed it. Spencer & Bo went ahead, they were starving by the time Mykah made it with Grace! Spencer thought maybe they just went back home. The "ride" home was worse. Mykah pushed her bike & Grace's the whole way home which happens to be a slight uphill grade!! Straight from Mykah, "NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!"

oh but we left out the part that she was afraid to go down the little dips in the end of the side walk!! and when i was pushing our bikes UPHILL home, i was also holding her helmet and she was happily dancing around and smelling the flowers!! next time i think the wagon will do better! :D
.....bike trailer! Best way to go!
